The story

About Wade

Placeholder biography for client review — swap in the real life story before launch.

A voice built for the long way home

Wade Callahan learned harmony before he learned long division, standing between his mama and a worn-out Baptist hymnal in a cinderblock church east of Nashville. After the benediction, the AM dial stayed locked on stories: cheating songs, trucker songs, and the kind of choruses you can still hum when the radio fades out past Lebanon. He writes like that room still exists — close, unvarnished, and a little stubborn about the truth.

He spent his twenties swapping night shifts for writer’s rounds, carrying a notebook through East Nashville diners and the back booths of 12th South. The first songs that stuck were not about making it. They were about leaving a porch light on, about the friend who did not come home from the plant, about the girl who kept his old guitar in a closet two towns over. That patience shows up now in a modern country sound with traditional roots: Telecaster sparkle, a steel line that knows when to stay quiet, and a vocal that sounds lived-in rather than produced.

Nights at the Bluebird, The Basement East, and rooms that still smell like last call taught him how to hold a crowd without raising his voice. In 2024 he put that education on tape with Two-Lane Heart, a debut album tracked live to the floor. The follow-up EP Porch Light and the 2026 single Red Dirt & Rain widened the map without sanding off the Tennessee in the vowels.

Wade still lives in Nashville, still writes in the morning before the city gets loud, and still believes a three-minute song can tell you more about a man than a press release. He is looking for rooms that want the story told straight — clubs, theaters, and festivals that let the songs breathe. Placeholder copy ends here; replace with the client’s own words.
